The Maiden and Turkey Rocks
Saturday we set out to climb and rappel The Maiden. Laura had talked about how fun the rappel was and what a weird climb the rock was. She last climbed there in high school so going back was pretty fun. The climb was interesting - mostly a downclimb with one traversing pitch. Rappel was fun!
The following day we went to Turkey Rocks with Brad, Bo and Pete Gallagher, who set some super hard routes back in the 70's. We climbed a few 5.8-5.9 routes. Brad put up some 5.12's - we simply struggled on them.
